Other specialty services that we provide include Corneal diseases treatment including Eye transplantation, Glaucoma & Retinal services, Diabetic eye care, Children eye care services, Contact Lenses including specilaty lenses- RGP CLs, Rose k & Kerasoft CLs.

Dr Rashmi C completed MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Bangalore in 2000, DNB Ophthalmology from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi in 2008 and FGOP from Nethradhama Superspeciality Eye Hospital in 2010.

Dr Rashmi C always wanted to become a doctor from childhood and it was a dream come true for her when she secured 8th rank at state level PUC board examination and secured a seat at Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Bangalore in 1995 through CET exams and counseling.

She did DNB course at Nethradhama superspeciality eye hospital , Bangalore and a year long fellowship in phaco-surgery & General Ophthalmology and went on to become one of the consultants at same hospital . After gaining very good experience for about 7 years , she followed her passion and dream to have her own hospital UDAYA RAVI EYE HOSPITAL.

Very methodical , Compassionate to the core , she has mastered the science and art of medicine in understanding patients concern and fear and still be objective in giving opinion and suggesting treatment options to patients.

She is a member of several ophthalmic societies including Karnataka Ophthalmic Society.

Dr. Rashmi Chikkerur

Former Consultant at Shekar Eye Hospital & Shekar Nethralaya, Bangalore.

Hailing from Harihar , Dr Vidyashankar G Kulkarni completed his graduation from JJM Medical College, Davangere, Kuvempu University, Karnataka. Post graduation MS (Oph) from reputed Mysore Medical college, Mysore under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore; and DNB (Oph) from National Board of Examination, New Delhi.

He has done long term fellowship at prestigious L.V. Prasad eye institute in Cornea and Anterior Segment, Hyderabad. He has special interest in treating corneal disorders especially Keratoconus, infections and eye transplantation. He is a sought after faculty in state level conferences, teaching programs and has presented several articles and papersin sate and national level conferences.

He is a member of several ophthalmic societies including Karnataka Ophthalmic Society, Bangalore Ohthalmic Society and All India Ophthalmic Society. He was the Organizing Secretary and successfully conducted a national level Conference hosted by Bangalore Ophthalmic Society at ITC Gardenia, Bangalore in 2015.
